The OBJECTIVES are comprehensive and respond to the different needs and culture of the Mexican / Latino Migrant People. in San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono, Inyo and Imperial counties, CA. Each of these projects has as its objective the economic, human, cultural,

political, and ideological development of its members. It seeks to establish the

infrastructure of an organized community, of being a people that has its own

identity and space from where we can exercise power as a force to live

with dignity and justice.

  • Cultural Art


Calpulleque Xochiquetzal. It focuses on the development and organization of artists (family, youth, boys/girls) popular in the different branches of cultural art.

  • Economic Development of Women

Calpulleque Muxer. Its main objective is to group low-income women in the "Seamstresses of the Home" project. There are other projects in the area of ​​economic development (crafts, cookie making and others).

  • Grandfathers and Grandmothers

Calpulleque Tonatiuh. It focuses on the organization, development and protection of the grandmothers and grandfathers of the community. It focuses on finding ways to reintegrate this sector of our population into the integral life of the community.

  • Defense and Protection

Calpulleque Tonantzin. This project's main task is to defend the human, labor and civil rights of the migrant population.

  • Child Care

Calpulleque Nana Xocoyotl. Organizes low-income women and men who want to be trained and certified under the state of California as Nanas Educadoras.

Computer Center, English classes. Citizenship, sewing, workshops.

Organization of popular health and alternative medicine promoters and educators.

Librería del Pueblo offers immigration services, citizenship procedures and everything related to emigration cases.

Theoretical/practical training education program for Agents of Social Change.

  • Continental Alternative Trade

The Abya Yala Alternative Trade and Exchange Network is supported, promoted and implemented. This project's main purpose is the accompaniment, development and implementation of alternative economy projects between communities without borders. It has a component of solidarity with communities that are fighting for their self-determination, self-management, and self-financing.
